A Tribute to Otunba Opeyemi Agbaje: The Pillar of Excellence and 1st Elected President of the IfeLaw85 Alumni Association

A Tribute to Otunba Opeyemi Agbaje: The Pillar of Excellence and 1st President of the Dayo Family.

On this remarkable day, Ifelaw85, best known as The Dayo Family, bound by memories, shared laughter, and collective aspirations, pauses to honor a figure of immense stature and profound influence among us—Otunba Opeyemi Agbaje, our Original Presido, as he celebrates another glorious year of life. Otunba Agbaje isn’t just the first president of our esteemed Ife Law ’85 Alumni; he is our Baba Egbe, a title that resonates with respect, admiration, and love within our hearts.

Otunba Agbaje’s journey is one of unparalleled excellence, marked by a distinguished career that spans the realms of law, economics, government and strategic planning. His voice, a beacon of insight and reason, has not only educated the Dayo Family but has also enriched national conversations on finance and politics through his acclaimed commentaries.

As a financial analyst, Trainer, Consultant, blogger, public speaker, and multi station Tv Analyst his contributions have garnered widespread recognition, extending far beyond our circle to influence the broader discourse.

At the helm of RTC Advisory Services Ltd, Otunba Agbaje has demonstrated visionary leadership, steering the firm to become a bastion of strategic and business advisory excellence. His tenure at the Lagos Business School and his role as Chairman of Stairways Communications and Advocacy Ltd further underscore his multifaceted expertise and his commitment to fostering growth and innovation.

Moreover, through The Opeyemi Agbaje Institute (TOAI), he has cemented his legacy as a catalyst for policy, governance, and development transformation, embodying the spirit of progress and enlightenment that we so cherish in the Dayo Family.

As our founding president at the 8IfeLaw85 Alumni, Otunba Agbaje’s leadership was instrumental in laying the foundation of what the Dayo Family has become today—an alumni organization united by more than just memories, but a deep-seated sense of belonging and purpose. His role, in collaboration with other prominent members of the family like Tolu Dare, Funke Adewunmi and Dayo Jalekun (Our Undisputed Mama Egbe), in orchestrating our first grand reunion not only solidified our bonds but also established a tradition of togetherness that has become the hallmark of our association.

While Otunba Opeyemi, aka Baba Egbe and Original Presido, can deftly navigate the lively banter of our Family room, often engaging in the occasional vawolence with the most spirited among us, it is his cerebral and serious contributions that have earned him the deepest respect. His thoughtful perspectives on issues remind us of the value of wisdom and the importance of constructive dialogue in fostering unity and progress.

Today, as we celebrate Otunba Opeyemi Agbaje, we do so with hearts full of gratitude and admiration. We honor not just the accomplishments of a remarkable individual but the enduring impact of a visionary leader who has inspired us to strive for excellence, to engage thoughtfully with the world around us, and to cherish the bonds that unite us as a family.

Our Founding Presido and Baba Egbe, we salute you!

Otunba, as you mark this milestone, we, your Dayo Family, extend our warmest wishes for joy, health, and continued success. May the years ahead bring you as much fulfillment and happiness as you have brought to our lives.
